Haluwa Khola Irrigation Project

HPL has either rehabilitated or constructed new irrigation systems/canals across both banks of the Khimti River down from the intake at Palati. One of the exemplary irrigation projects is the Haluwa Khola Irrigation Project which irrigates 100 hectares of formerly barren land by providing 55 liters per second of water from the other side of the valley by using gravity flow.
