HPL hosts the O&M Training at Khimti Plant News | December 5, 2014

IPPAN together with International Centre for Hydropower (ICH) had organized a training course on ” Operation & Maintenance Management of the Hydropower Plants” from 24-27 November. Twenty participants including four from Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) from operated power plant, Plant Managers/Maintenance Manager/ Plant In charges participated in the residential training. The resource persons were from ICH and some were locals.

The participants along with some Executive Committee members of IPPAN visited the Khimti plant having world-class O&M activities, excellent support to community. Khimti Plant manager as a resource person of the training on planning of Maintenance Outages vis-á-vis Load Dispatch, HSE & Availability, HSE in Operation & Maintenance phase, Safety Induction, Maintenance Mythology, Condition Monitoring, Preventive Maintenance etc.

Khimti Plant also organized a grand party in honor of the ICH-IPPAN training resource persons and participants.
