HPL Participated in Responsible Business Summit 2017

National Business Initiative (NBI) organized an international level “Responsible Business Summit (RBS) 2017″ on 3 – 4^th August 2017 in Hotel Yak & Yeti. RBS 2017 was an exceptional assembly of nearly five hundred top managers, CEOs, business persons, civic activists, media personnel and academicians interested and engaged in responsible business. The event was the most powerful national platform to showcase the ethical, responsible and sustainable practices of Nepalese businesses.

The core objective of the RBS is to promote multi-stakeholder discussion among business, government, development agencies, civil society, media and academia on CSR and showcase best practices of responsible business practices in Nepal.

Prime Minister of Nepal Inaugurated the event. Himal Power Limited supported the event financially as one of the theme sponsor and also made a presentation a learning on carrying CSR work in project area of Khimti Project. HPL General Manager and other senior managers participated in the event. Mr. Khadga Bahadur Bisht, HPL’s Head of Stakeholder  made a presentation on behalf of HPL.
